Katie Schorr

received her MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from Hunter College in 2021. Some of her writing has appeared in McSweeney’s and Mother.ly (formerly parent.co). Katie is currently teaching English at BMCC in Manhattan. She also narrates audiobooks and occasionally appears in television commercials. Katie spent her twenties studying improv and performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Ars Nova, the Ensemble Studio Theatre, and a handful of sticky-floored black box basements. Katie is married to another writer, Lance Rubin, with whom she has two kids. She’s working on her second novel.
